Biography

Growing up in the small wonder of a state called Delaware, really allowed me to follow my true passion for physical exercise.

Never able to sit still, swimming was my past time. I competed year round, often logging up to seven or eight hours in the water a day. I learned from one of the best; Olympian Bob Matson. He taught me self confidence and discipline along with a vast array from yoga, pilates, strength, resistance, and conditioning exercises that formed my foundation for physical activity.

In highschool I not only continued to swim but also picked up ice hockey and furthered my knowledge of sports conditioning.

When I attended the University of Delaware, I decided not to play sports but rather to focus on my academics. Upon graduating in the summer of 2003, I had toyed with the idea of taking my zest and knowledge to a tropical island. Or, I thought, becoming a trainer of the many stars in Hollywood. I chose rather to make the move to Pennsylvania and establish myself with everyday hard-working motivated people. That one decision, without a doubt, was the best one I have ever made.

Presently, I reside in southern PA, and teach one of the most popular fitness classes in the area. Butts and Guts, as it is called, is now going onto the internet to reach a far broader population of individuals who have that same desire and drive that I find from those in my class. Butts and Guts is the direct result of this blog which you are currently reading.

In addition, I have several e-books currently in development as well as a personal boot camp which I aim to start in 2007!
